Jordin Sparks won American Idol!! Life is great. (Especially since we're both from Glendale and my friend Ashley is her friend! They both went to Foothills Elementary, which shares a wall with the HS Ash & I go to now.)
I actually drew this months ago...but I didn't color it in until she won!! The poem is just some random thingie, I didn't know the lyrics to This Is My Now back then. The title is from one of our HS choirs' song, "Fanfare": Song, go on/And touch the part of me/That's close to all Sing music/Find a voice that silent yet can sing Make of me a vessel/Holding melody's reward Savoring the sounds that/Unlock hearts ...... Song go on and make me whole/Make me whole Page 26 in The Aether, my art book. Made with precision pens and colored pencils, touched-up with PSP. |
